As they discuss this improv, the clock strikes ten, loudly. Michelle stops talking to let the imposition pass and creates an improv dance to it full of movement in coordination with the chimes. The class laughs and seems to really enjoy it. She comments that this should be a part of the improv from now on. (Michelle's notes, 9/29)
The squirrel experience
The bells chime and the class does their “squirrel poses” as they’ve come to be known, posing on each bong. They are doing this near the path and there is a passerby that does not look amused at all. I find this beyond hilarious. Some of the dancers really look like squirrels, others not so much. Are the supposed to be imitating squirrels? (Michelle's notes 10/1)
